History of Conti Gourmet Coffee
In the early 1920's, the son of Italian immigrants residing in Ohio, joined the United
States Marines and was deployed to Nicaragua. There, the handsome soldier met
the beautiful daughter of a successful Italian businessman. They fell in love and after
his tour of duty was complete, he stayed in Nicaragua to wed. With the dowry of a
coffee farm and his young bride by his side, he began production of fine specialty
coffee. One farm grew to several, and the family tradition continues today, through
three generations, with the grandsons of Senor Conti. We have now brought our
family traditions to the United States to share them with you.
Today…Conti Gourmet Coffee has hit US shelves with great success, and with a
national distribution network in place, Conti Gourmet Coffee is poised to be a leader
in the US Market for years to come.
